Amanda Mensky, the Project Manager of Trio Corporation gets a project that has to be completed within a very short time frame. She plans out to have a brainstorming session with her team. Her team consists of a Content Developer - Sussie, three Graphics Designers - Kathy, Robin and Roth; and one tester - Steven. The main issue is that the time line cannot be changed and so the work allotment has to be perfect. She invites her team to discuss the issue and get their ideas.
Amanda says, "Hi team! We have received this new project. Let's discuss how to implement this."
The team members start presenting their ideas. Amanda starts taking notes of all their suggestions.
Sussie says, "Amanda, lets get some Graphic Designers on contract."
Steven chips in saying, "We could get the content reviews done prior to developing the content."
Kathy also puts in her idea. She says, "Sussie could chunk the content into small manageable modules. We could then develop each module separately and send across for confirmation. This way we will not be too much dependent on the client."
Everyone likes the idea very much. Amanda also realizes that implementing her idea would be very beneficial for the project.
Sussie takes the challenge and prepares small modules of the content. The three Designers discuss before hand the technical expectation for each module. Steven, on his part, prepares detailed QA Checklists to aid him in ensuring the quality of the developed modules.
The team works hard on the decided process. They finish the project on time and receive praise from the client. The client is highly impressed by their professional working style and decides to give them three more projects.
